Senior BI Analyst

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and automate BI reports, dashboards, and data models to support financial and regulatory decision-making
• Own and manage RBI, statutory, and compliance reports ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
• Write, review, and optimize complex SQL queries across large datasets
• Partner with Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Technology teams to ensure seamless data flow
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and auditability of financial data and reporting outputs
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI/ML and automation to improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics within NBFCs or Financial Services
• Advanced SQL skills for writing, tuning, and debugging complex queries
• Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
• Understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts
• Exposure to Python or Spark for data analysis or automation
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Solid understanding of financial data, lending products, and NBFC operations
• Proven experience with regulatory and RBI reporting (e.g., CRILC, ALM, statutory MIS)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Finance, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Databricks ecosystem (Delta Lake, PySpark, notebooks, workflows)
• Understanding of data privacy and governance standards in financial systems
