Senior Benefits Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of 20-40 complex clients through the full benefits lifecycle, including renewal strategy, carrier negotiation, and open enrollment.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to executive-level clients, designing innovative solutions informed by data and market trends.
• Develop and present strategic deliverables such as renewal presentations, financial reporting, and compliance management.
• Mentor Account Managers through active coaching and knowledge sharing to drive service delivery excellence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to leverage AI-powered tools and automation to streamline workflows and enhance client experience.

Requirements

• 7+ years of benefits consulting experience.
• 5+ years of experience independently managing client accounts.
• Active life and health insurance license.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Must be based in California with recent experience supporting California-based employer groups (50-500 employees).

Preferred Qualifications

• Spanish fluency (highly desirable).
• Proficiency with benefits platforms and AI/automation tools.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen.
