About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build production-grade Node.js services using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and event-driven serverless patterns
  • Design secure APIs and integrations across internal systems, customer data, and third-party platforms
  • Develop observability pipelines using tools like OpenSearch, CloudWatch, Kibana, and Snowflake
  • Create automation and AI-enabled workflows to improve routing, agent support, and operational visibility
  • Build migration tooling to transition legacy telephony and contact center workflows to modern platforms

Requirements

  • 5+ years of backend software engineering experience, ideally with Node.js or TypeScript
  • Strong expertise in API design, system architecture, and asynchronous systems
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda or similar cloud/serverless architectures
  • Proven experience with logging, monitoring, and production observability
  • Fluency with GitHub workflows, including pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD collaboration
  • Ability to use AI coding assistants for development, testing, and troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in contact center, telephony, or customer support automation environments
  • Exposure to platforms such as Genesys Cloud, Twilio, Five9, or Zoom Contact Center
  • Familiarity with routing, IVR, SIP, or agent-assist workflows
  • Experience with infrastructure tooling such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS SAM
  • Proficiency with Snowflake SQL
