Neon is building an AI automation powerhouse for healthcare enterprises. We automate patient access workflows for pharma companies, eliminating obstacles like insurance mazes and cost barriers to ensure patients access life-saving treatments.
Responsibilities
- Lead project teams, provide direction, and keep stakeholders informed
- Define priorities and suggest high-quality technical solutions
- Excel at implementation and help embed quality into the rest of the team
- Determine key milestones and provide regular updates to relevant partners
- Work across many parts of a large codebase to deliver features
Requirements
- 4-7 years of experience as a software engineer
- Proficiency with Node, TypeScript, and Python
- Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, and reliability tradeoffs
- Experience in API design, implementation, and documentation
- Experience using AI coding tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude
- Proficiency with version control (Git)
- Experience working on projects touching many parts of a large codebase
- Must be authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with distributed architectures
- Experience working with CI/CD systems and DevOps skills
- Experience in a scaling startup environment
