Senior Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deliver large-size projects including scoping, planning, design, development, testing, rollout, and maintenance
• Write clean, concise, modular, and well-tested code
• Review code from junior engineers and provide constructive feedback
• Create high-quality, loosely coupled, reliable, and extensible technical designs
• Participate in on-call rotations and lead troubleshooting for owned services
• Lead cross-team collaborations and support hiring and onboarding activities

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications
• 2+ years of recent and active software development experience
• Proficiency in Golang and Go concurrency patterns
• Experience designing distributed services
• Strong understanding of clean architecture, S.O.L.I.D principles, and event-driven architecture
• Experience with message brokers like SQS or Kafka
• Strong data modeling experience in Relational databases
• Excellent cross-team collaboration and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
• Experience with NoSQL databases
