Responsibilities
- Design and build external-facing API endpoints
- Improve database and query performance
- Integrate with a wide range of third-party services
- Translate product requirements into reliable business logic
- Diagnose and resolve customer issues
- Collaborate with full-stack, data, ML, and DevOps engineers to build scalable backend solutions
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience building external-facing APIs or designing 3rd party integrations
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with serverless technologies (Lambda, EC2)
- Experience with asynchronous workflows and cloud environments
- Proficiency with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
- Strong fundamentals in system design, debugging, and problem-solving
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with LLMs or generative AI
- Experience with distributed systems
