Senior Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Elaborate, develop and maintain features using Ruby, Go, and Ruby on Rails
• Participate in architectural decisions and migration towards microservices
• Inform product design, priorities, and constraints within an agile squad
• Write automated tests and deploy to production in a Continuous Deployment culture
• Monitor and fix production issues within your functional scope
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and technical mentoring

Requirements

• Experience with at least one Web backend technology
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to technical excellence and clean code
• Ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders
• Must be a resident of France with a valid work permit

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Ruby or Go
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, gRPC, Kafka, or ElasticSearch
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL
