Senior Backend Engineer

About the Company

Endor Labs is building the Application Security platform for the software development revolution. We solve the challenge of complex, dependency-rich modern software by building a call graph of your entire software estate, enabling teams to identify and fix critical risks faster.

Responsibilities

• Design and build core backend features end-to-end for SaaS products
• Contribute to large-scale technical projects ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
• Participate in architectural discussions and drive sound technical decisions
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into technical solutions
• Actively participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality
• Use observability best practices to ensure platform reliability and availability

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience building scalable backends for product/SaaS companies
• 2+ years of experience in Golang with a focus on microservices/distributed architecture
• Practical experience designing APIs (gRPC preferred)
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, domain-driven design, and stateless architectures
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and documentation
• Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and identifying root causes

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with Java or JVM-based technologies (e.g., Spring Boot, Gradle, Maven)
