Senior Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build robust and reliable backend systems capable of handling terabytes of data syncs
• Coordinate complex workflows that automate mission-critical go-to-market processes
• Manage high-scale infrastructure to serve emails to millions of recipients
• Work closely with customers via Slack to fix bugs and ship features
• Solve technical challenges related to scale, reliability, and data integrity

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience building backend systems
• Experience with Go, Kafka, Temporal, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, or GCP
• Startup mindset with a desire for early ownership
• Ability to work in-person 5 days a week in San Francisco

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at a Series A to C startup that scaled quickly
• Strong track record of side projects, apps, or hackathons
