Senior Backend Engineer

Commure is building the AI Operating System for healthcare, providing a platform that spans the full care journey from documentation to revenue cycle management. Integrated with over 60 EHRs, the platform supports hundreds of thousands of clinicians and handles billions in annual claims.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to an advanced healthcare platform and scale infrastructure for large health systems
• Work across the entire software stack in a fast-paced environment
• Solve customer issues directly on a daily basis
• Execute fast decisions and maintain high-speed deployment cycles

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency with Python, Flask, Django, and FastAPI
• Experience with containers and cloud technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience building production environments including alerting, reporting, and metrics tracking
• Strong leadership skills and product sense

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-growth environments requiring rapid shipping
• Background in software reliability engineering
