Senior Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance backend applications using Java 21 and Spring Boot
• Define and implement scalable microservices architectures
• Develop and maintain robust REST APIs
• Integrate AI/LLM solutions including OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, and RAG
• Develop and interface AI services using Python and FastAPI
• Ensure software quality through automated testing, clean code, and code reviews
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Deploy and operate applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Provide technical mentoring to developers and participate in architectural decisions

Requirements

• Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in backend development
• Expertise in Java (Spring Boot), REST APIs, and microservices
• Proficiency in Python for AI integration
• Experience with LLMs, RAG, and vector databases
• Strong understanding of Cloud environments and DevOps practices
• Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor teams
• Experience in Agile environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or Hugging Face
• Knowledge of vector databases like FAISS, Pinecone, or Weaviate
• Familiarity with cloud AI services such as AWS Bedrock or Azure AI
