Senior Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into technical solutions and collaborate with the team to ensure proper design, planning, and delivery
• Build and deploy internal and external RESTful APIs to ensure seamless updates of backend products
• Implement modern agile software development methods and Extreme Programming practices, including TDD and Pair Programming
• Take full ownership of end-to-end processes, including automated testing, deployment, monitoring, and incident response
• Act as a multiplier for team efforts to ensure technical soundness and high-quality results

Requirements

• Hands-on and recent experience with Laravel
• Proven experience developing synchronous APIs
• Experience working with Message-Queue systems such as SQS or RabbitMQ
• Proficiency with AWS, Terraform, MySQL, and Redis (or equivalent technologies)
• Strong knowledge of TDD and Pair Programming
• Self-motivated, responsible, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
