Senior Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into technical designs and deliver high-quality solutions
• Build and maintain internal and external RESTful APIs to ensure frictionless backend updates
• Implement efficient backend system solutions within the Supply Tech Unit
• Embrace agile methodologies, including TDD and pair programming
• Take end-to-end ownership of your code, including automated testing, deployment, monitoring, and incident response
• Act as a technical multiplier by ensuring team results are sound and high-quality

Requirements

• Hands-on and recent experience with Laravel
• Proven experience developing synchronous APIs
• Experience with message queue systems such as SQS or RabbitMQ
• Proficiency with AWS, Terraform, MySQL, and Redis
• Strong understanding of automated testing and deployment processes
• Ability to perform complex technical tasks independently with minimal guidance
