Senior Backend DevOps Programmer

Responsibilities

• Design and architect advanced, modular, and high-performing gameplay systems.
• Translate requirements into technical designs and select appropriate technologies and cloud infrastructure strategies.
• Architect, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and zero-downtime updates.
• Implement server-side logic, including APIs, databases, authentication systems, and data processing pipelines.
• Analyze and debug complex software and infrastructure issues to identify root causes.
• Optimize software for efficiency and implement real-time monitoring and alerting systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications and deliver large-scale solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of software development experience, preferably in the gaming industry.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#.
• Strong experience with Node.js and building RESTful API systems.
• Expertise with cloud providers (AWS or GCP) and core services.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Non-Relational Databases, specifically MongoDB.
• Proven track record of managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Strong experience with source control tools such as Git or Perforce.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Experience with real-time multiplayer applications using Sockets or WebSockets.
• Experience in Android or iOS mobile application development.
• Experience working in Agile or Kanban methodologies.
• Bilingualism in French and English.
