About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in technical integration sessions with client development teams to provide expert guidance.
- Develop detailed technical specifications for B2B integrations, including API mapping, event flows, and data mapping.
- Design, code, test, and deploy custom integrations, connectors, or extensions to meet specific client needs.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for integration components, supporting pre-sales, implementation, and post-launch activities.
- Create and maintain a library of technical documentation, prototypes, and proofs of concept (PoC) to accelerate the sales cycle.
- Facilitate troubleshooting sessions with client engineering teams to ensure optimal connectivity.
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of experience in a technical client-facing role (e.g., Backend Developer, Integration Consultant, or Professional Services Engineer).
- Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architecture.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Go, Python, Java, TypeScript, or C#.
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
- Proven ability to write clear technical documentation and specifications for other developers.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep expertise in Golang for building scalable services and asynchronous messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, Google Pub/Sub).
- Experience with Temporal for durable, fault-tolerant workflow architecture.
- Background in FinTech, financial services, or mortgage technology.
- Experience with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker) and cloud providers (GCP, Azure, or AWS).
