Senior Backend Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and operate scalable microservices serving millions of users
• Monitor performance and continuously improve service efficiency
• Collaborate with Frontend, QA, Customer Success, and Product Management teams
• Take ownership of development and maintenance of customer-deployed solutions
• Participate in innovation projects to trial and implement new product features

Requirements

• 3-5 years of proven backend development experience with Node.js
• Strong understanding of OOP, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles
• Experience with unit, integration, and functional testing
• Solid grasp of distributed architectures and continuous integration practices
• Proficiency in SQL, specifically PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with data stores like Redis, InfluxDB, or Prometheus
• Experience with message queuing systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or SQS
• Knowledge of GraphQL frameworks like Hasura or Apollo
• Working knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Familiarity with Git, VS Code, and REST clients
• Experience working in a SaaS environment
• Previous experience in customer-facing roles
• Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies
