Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and data pipelines in Go
- Monitor performance and reliability to ensure scalable, maintainable systems
- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and indexing
- Deploy and manage backend systems on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.)
- Partner with front-end engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences
- Test, debug, and review code to ensure functionality and resilience
- Lead by example through code reviews and mentoring
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend experience
- At least 1 year of production experience with Go
- Solid understanding of software design principles and API development
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to work in fast-moving environments with evolving priorities
- Mindset focused on quality, pragmatism, and delivery
