Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions in Microsoft Azure
• Provision and configure Azure resources including virtual machines, storage, and virtual networks
• Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, ARM templates, Bicep, or PowerShell
• Monitor cloud environments for performance, scalability, availability, and cost efficiency
• Implement cloud security best practices including identity management and network security
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and performance issues within Azure
• Support hybrid cloud integrations and connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to teams adopting Azure services

Requirements

• 7-8 years of progressive experience in Cloud Engineering, specifically Azure Cloud Infrastructure
• Experience with Azure resource implementation, networking, and security policy
• Experience in mission-critical enterprise environments including backup and disaster recovery
• Proven track record of planning and executing cloud migrations from on-premises to cloud
• Proficiency with multiple frameworks including .NET, Java, SQL, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
• Experience with security tools such as Tenable for vulnerability remediation
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Workbooks, and Alerts for observability
• Strong networking knowledge including OSI layer functionality and protocols
• Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect preferred
• Networking certifications such as Network+ or CCNA preferred
