Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions in Microsoft Azure
• Provision and configure Azure resources including virtual machines, storage, and virtual networks
• Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, ARM templates, Bicep, or PowerShell
• Monitor cloud environments for performance, scalability, availability, and cost efficiency
• Implement and enforce cloud security best practices and compliance controls
• Collaborate with development and operations teams for application lifecycle management
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and performance issues
• Support hybrid cloud integrations and connectivity
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to teams
• Maintain documentation of cloud architecture and operational procedures

Requirements

• 7-8 years of progressive experience in Cloud Engineering, specifically Azure Cloud Infrastructure
• Experience implementing and monitoring Azure resources, networking, and security policies
• Experience in mission-critical enterprise environments including backup and disaster recovery
• Experience planning and executing cloud migrations from on-premises to cloud
• Proficiency with frameworks such as .NET, Java, SQL, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
• Experience with security tools like Tenable for vulnerability remediation
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Workbooks, and Alerts
• Strong networking knowledge including OSI layer and network protocols
• Ability to drive and perform field work as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
• Networking certifications such as Network+ or CCNA
