Senior Azure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure-based solutions and cloud infrastructure
• Develop and maintain on-premises and Azure infrastructure, including network planning and disaster recovery
• Develop existing and new applications using programming expertise to optimize performance
• Implement information security solutions, including firewalls and message encryption
• Provide technical support, advice, and training to users and business units
• Manage application lifecycles, including data migration and governance
• Lead technical projects and coordinate with international shared IT services
• Collect and express business requirements through interviews and workflow analysis

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in technical subject matter expertise or programming
• Proficiency in Python, C#, PowerShell, or JavaScript for automation
• Experience with Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux Server Management
• Familiarity with networking concepts (Active Directory, O365, Cisco, VMWare/HyperV)
• Experience establishing infrastructure within small to medium-sized organizations
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CRM, HRIS, SharePoint, or enterprise financial software
• Experience working with managed services or shared services
• Experience working in an international NGO
• Interest in humanitarian technology issues
