Senior Avionics Test Engineer – RF

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and integrate RF Components and Assemblies used across all programs
• Contribute to design reviews as an expert in design for test, productivity, and quality control
• Design and troubleshoot RF (S-Band, X, C bands) test setups and support equipment
• Develop automated test hardware and test platforms for production
• Manage, conduct, and train production team members on Acceptance, Qualification, and Proto-Flight test programs
• Define and implement factory layouts, equipment selection, and production commissioning
• Lead problem containment and structured root cause and corrective action investigations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, aerospace, manufacturing, or similar engineering discipline
• 5+ years of experience with hardware development or electronics test engineering
• Python programming experience
• Understanding of electrical test equipment, test procedures, and data acquisition systems
• Extensive experience with electronic circuits, RF design principles, and manufacturing techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced engineering degree in Electrical or Aerospace engineering
• 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with environmental acceptance testing (vibration, shock, thermal, vacuum)
• Proficiency with LabVIEW and National Instruments hardware
• Experience with DFMEA, PFMEA, and Fault Tree Analysis methodologies
