Senior Autonomy Engineer (SLAM & Navigation)

Responsibilities

• Design and scale robust SLAM pipelines for accurate localisation and state estimation
• Integrate foundation geometry models and ML techniques into the localisation loop
• Architect long-term mapping systems for autonomous spatial map management
• Build auto-labeling data pipelines using foundation geometry models
• Bridge classical geometry with deep learning architectures for hybrid systems
• Deploy and benchmark spatial AI software on physical robot hardware
• Translate spatial AI research into production-ready navigation roadmaps

Requirements

• Deep expertise in classical SLAM and multi-view geometry
• Experience with state estimation, visual/LiDAR odometry, and multi-sensor fusion
• Experience with backend map optimization and long-term mapping
• Practical experience applying modern ML to geometric problems
• Proficiency in C++ and Python
• Experience deploying navigation systems on physical hardware
• Ability to implement research from CVPR/ICRA papers into production
