About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead validation strategy for vehicle communication networks including CAN, CAN FD, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet
  • Establish test coverage models for signal integrity, timing determinism, and fault tolerance
  • Own validation execution across SIL, HIL, and vehicle integration testing environments
  • Design scalable regression test suites for ECU communication systems
  • Validate multi-ECU communication across powertrain, BMS, ADAS, chassis, and body systems
  • Perform deep debugging of network issues such as bus load saturation and message timing drift
  • Use diagnostic protocols like UDS (ISO 14229) to validate ECU behavior
  • Coordinate integration across various vehicle domains including Electrification, ADAS, and Infotainment
  • Lead vehicle-level regression test planning and root cause analysis

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of vehicle E/E architecture and ECU-level software stacks
  • Proficiency in automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
  • Expertise in UDS diagnostics (ISO 14229) and diagnostic communication tools
  • Proficiency with Jira, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, and Artifactory
  • Experience with ALM/PLM tools such as Siemens Polarion, IBM DOORS Next Gen, or PTC Windchill
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and HIL environments (dSpace)
  • Familiarity with vehicle network tools like CANalyzer and CANoe
