Senior Automation Tester

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java and Selenium
• Perform API automation testing using Rest Assured
• Work with Azure Cloud CI/CD pipelines for automation execution and deployment integration
• Validate backend systems and perform database testing and SQL validations
• Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automation test suites
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to ensure quality delivery
• Analyse test results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release activities
• Ensure automation best practices, framework scalability, and code quality standards

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in Software Testing / Automation Testing
• Strong hands-on experience in Java and Selenium automation
• Expertise in API Testing using Rest Assured
• Experience working with Azure Cloud CI/CD pipelines or other cloud platforms
• Strong knowledge of database testing and SQL queries
• Good understanding of automation framework design and Agile methodologies
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
