Senior Automation & Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain end-to-end (E2E) automation using Playwright and Selenium across critical user journeys.
• Develop maintainable automation frameworks and reusable test components in Java and Python.
• Build and execute performance and load test plans using JMeter and k8s-based approaches.
• Integrate automation suites into GitLab pipelines as enforceable quality gates for merge requests and pre-release stages.
• Define and enforce unit test expectations and support developers in improving testability.
• Build workflow automations using n8n to streamline quality operations and reporting.
• Produce quality dashboards tracking pass/fail trends, flakiness, and performance baselines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in QA Automation, SDET, or Quality Engineering at a senior level.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Playwright and/or Selenium for E2E automation.
• Proficiency in JMeter for performance and load testing.
• Extensive experience with GitLab CI/CD integration and pipeline-driven quality gates.
• Proven automation development skills in both Java and Python.
• Experience running tests in containerized and cloud-native environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with distributed load testing in Kubernetes (k8s).
• Knowledge of API mocking and service virtualization strategies.
• Experience with test reporting frameworks and flakiness reduction analysis.
• Familiarity with release governance and quality sign-off frameworks.
