Senior Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered automation solutions to improve productivity across Product and Security processes
• Identify and eliminate inefficiencies in workflows and establish operational standards
• Lead discovery and solution design sessions with stakeholders to align automations with business goals
• Integrate AI capabilities into automation workflows using emerging technologies
• Document solutions, processes, and best practices for team learning and maintenance
• Mentor and guide junior engineers to foster technical excellence

Requirements

• Background in information systems, computer science, or engineering
• 6+ years of experience in software engineering or technical consulting
• Experience with Workato or other integration platforms (Mulesoft, Snaplogic, Boomi, etc.)
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs, OAuth authentication, and API management
• Working experience with SQL in any RDBMS
• Experience with Gen AI (OpenAI, Anthropic) and Vector databases
• Experience with agile methodologies and Jira
• Ability to work in the EMEA timezone (2pm to 11pm IST)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in security and GRC automations
• Experience with incident and change management processes
• Basic AWS administration experience
• Experience with complex enterprise systems like SAP, Oracle, or Salesforce
• Coding experience in Java, Python, or Ruby
• Knowledge of SOAP/XML and UX design
