Senior Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Responsible for HDD tooling automation across all cleanroom production areas
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for tooling and fixture maintenance
• Monitor and drive performance using key indices such as Cpk, MTBF, and MTTR
• Support product and technology transfers between sites
• Deliver technical training to technicians and manufacturing personnel
• Provide guidance and supervision to the technical team
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and minimize equipment damage

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Software, Robotics, Electronics, Telecommunications, or Computer Engineering
• 2+ years of experience in tool/machine design, automation systems, software development, or PLC programming
• Proficiency in English communication and presentation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Foundation in AI, data analytics, automation systems, and data mining
• Familiarity with Digital Twin concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with C/C++ or Python
• Experience developing Digital Twin applications for predictive maintenance
• Practical experience in data mining and statistical analysis
• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSSYS
• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, Kibana, JMP, or Minitab
