About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of a test automation strategy covering unit, service, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Build and maintain automated tests in collaboration with engineering teams
- Improve existing automation frameworks to support new functionalities
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot, isolate, and debug issues found during testing and after release
- Work with cross-functional teams including product management and development
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience in software testing and automation
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Kotlin or Java
- Strong scripting skills
- Deep knowledge of test automation methodologies, tools, and frameworks
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks like Espresso
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Buildkite, Spinnaker, Jenkins) and Git
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
- Fluency in English
