Senior Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Automation Anywhere Subject Matter Expert (SME), overseeing system architecture, solution design, platform configuration, and security management.
• Design and lead the implementation of scalable, secure robotic process automation (RPA) solutions that bridge business needs and technical infrastructure.
• Develop automation blueprints, including detailed Process Definition Documents (PDD) and Solution Design Documents (SDD).
• Collaborate with IPA Engineering, Architecture, and business stakeholders to ensure technical delivery meets realistic goals and strategies.
• Manage end-to-end scrum activities, including stand-ups, backlog grooming, and planning.
• Establish development standards, coding standards, and governance models to ensure robust and maintainable bot performance.
• Work closely with support teams to resolve production issues and stay current with industry trends to recommend innovative technology solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience implementing enterprise-level IT projects.
• 4+ years of specialized experience in Automation Anywhere architecture, bot development, and control room setup.
• Strong proficiency in Power Platform components, including Power Automate, AI Builder, and Dataverse.
• Solid programming fundamentals, with a preference for Python.
• Hands-on experience with cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with SQL and database management systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating automation solutions with SAP ECC, SAP BW, MS Dynamics 365, Azure Datalake, Power BI, or Salesforce.
• Familiarity with cognitive automation, Machine Learning, and other emerging technologies.
