Senior Auditor - Risk Management

Responsibilities

• Audit major components of business units and Enterprise/Operational Risk Management frameworks.
• Assist in developing engagement planning documentation, including risk-based rationale for scoping.
• Design and execute internal control testing for operations of varying complexity.
• Prepare clear, organized, and complete documentation to support audit work performed.
• Establish and maintain strong client and team relationships during engagements.
• Manage engagement administration tasks, including hours and budget tracking.
• Self-prioritize and manage multiple tasks to deliver high-quality results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent military experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in auditing banking, financial services, or risk management.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to understand complex control environments.
• Proficiency in data analysis to support internal auditing processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Auditing, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or an MBA.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, CFA, CRM, FRM, or CRC.
• Experience in professional services firms serving large banks.
• Direct exposure to Enterprise Risk Management or Operational Risk Management.
