Senior Auditor

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple audit projects simultaneously, ensuring effective planning and stakeholder coordination
• Design and execute audit test programs and procedures based on risk assessments
• Execute audit testing, evaluate results, and document workpapers in accordance with professional standards
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls using established methodologies
• Draft audit issues and reports for management review and track the closure of findings
• Communicate audit findings clearly to stakeholders and senior management
• Apply data analysis techniques in audit execution to drive meaningful insights
• Provide coaching and mentorship to junior team members

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant internal audit experience
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong experience in audit testing and risk assessment
• Proven ability to evaluate internal controls and document work concisely

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification
• Experience in Big 4 or financial services internal audit
• Background in payments, fintech, or digital financial services
• Proficiency with audit tools such as AuditBoard or similar systems
