Senior Auditor, Financial Operations

Responsibilities

• Execute all phases of the standard internal audit process, including planning, execution, and reporting to business management.
• Perform thorough inquiry and data analysis to understand business operations, assess risks, and develop project scopes for complex process areas.
• Evaluate records, policies, and costs to ensure functional areas comply with established procedures, US GAAP, and legal requirements.
• Apply appropriate audit procedures to test controls and ensure all significant risks are addressed.
• Prepare clear, well-organized audit work papers documenting root causes, investigation summaries, and recommendations.
• Identify audit findings and recommend effective corrective actions and remediation tactics.
• Assist less experienced team members in understanding and executing internal audit methodology and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (or an equivalent combination of coursework and experience).
• 5-7 years of relevant work experience in auditing or financial operations.
• Proven expertise in internal controls and risk assessment proficiency.
• Strong financial auditing skills and experience with audit documentation.
• Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to manage complex tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle variable schedules, including occasional nights and weekends.
