Senior Athletic Trainer - Rehab Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training and/or physical therapy services to patients under physician direction
• Evaluate, manage, and rehabilitate acute injuries and medical conditions
• Make authoritative decisions regarding patient participation and return-to-play status
• Coordinate patient care within the sports medicine department, including clinical supervision and referrals
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, coaches, and nutrition staff
• Manage emergency action plans and provide medical care during practices and competitions
• Perform administrative duties including policy development, quality improvement, and medical supply management
• Maintain accurate medical records and analyze performance metrics to adjust programming

Requirements

• IDFPR Physical Therapy or Athletic Training License (or eligibility to obtain within six months)
• Advanced practice credential, or completion of an accredited residency/fellowship
• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy, or Bachelor's from a CAATE accredited program
• 1-2 years of related clinical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctoral degree
• 3-5 years of previous job-related experience
