Senior Association Engagement Partner- Sustainability

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive association and external demand strategy aligned with business and product priorities.
• Identify, source, and negotiate agreements with industry bodies, certifying bodies, and trade groups.
• Secure strategic program placements such as endorsed vendor status, member benefits, and speaking opportunities.
• Manage co-marketing calendars including webinars, digital campaigns, and joint thought leadership content.
• Collaborate with Government Affairs to ensure all partner communications align with regulatory timelines and policy positions.
• Build repeatable partner onboarding toolkits and drive field enablement for sales teams.
• Define KPIs and track partner-influenced revenue, pipeline velocity, and ROI.

Requirements

• 6–10+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or B2B demand generation.
• Proven track record of activating sustainability or ESG-aligned partnerships to generate business demand.
• Deep understanding of sustainability topics including circularity, carbon, and climate reporting/disclosure.
• Demonstrated success in closing and scaling ecosystem partnerships that drive qualified pipeline.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across Legal, Marketing, Sales, and Government Affairs.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex sustainability frameworks into compelling narratives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of global regulatory frameworks and ESG reporting requirements.
• Familiarity with policy/advocacy calendars and procurement cycles.
• Strong data orientation with experience in channel ROI and multi-touch attribution.
• Experience in event strategy and professional thought leadership.
