Senior Associate/Vice President, Ares Real Estate Exchange Specialist

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on 1031 exchanges, 721/UPREIT transactions, and Ares-sponsored real estate funds
• Provide dedicated product support to internal and external distribution teams, including wirehouses, private banks, and RIAs
• Partner with the AMCM distribution team to source, manage, and convert exchange opportunities into completed transactions
• Communicate complex platform structures and benefits to financial advisors, investors, and tax/legal professionals
• Manage and monitor transactions from initial inquiry through closing, coordinating with all internal and external stakeholders
• Conduct outbound outreach, including meetings, presentations, and industry conference participation
• Maintain accurate deal tracking and pipeline management using Salesforce.com

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses required
• Prior experience in financial services
• Strong knowledge of real estate, 1031 exchanges, DSTs, or UPREITs preferred
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial and tax concepts
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment
• Willingness to travel as needed to support business development
