Senior Associate - Transaction Services Data Analytics

Responsibilities

• Analyze extensive datasets using data management technologies like Alteryx, Hadoop, or SQL to develop cleansed datasets for M&A models and financial metrics
• Employ statistical software and programming languages such as Python or R to perform in-depth analysis and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Translate complex data findings into clear, strategic recommendations for due diligence and transaction models
• Utilize analytics platforms like SAS or Azure throughout the transaction lifecycle to drive data-driven decision-making
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance data analytics capabilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, data science, data analytics, statistics, economics, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience combining financial due diligence and data analytics
• Minimum 1 year of transaction experience focused on quality of earnings, net working capital, and cash flows
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or D3.js
• Experience with data management tools like SQL, Alteryx, or Hadoop
• Competence in programming languages such as Python or R
• Ability and desire to travel as required based on client location

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification
• Audit experience
