Senior Associate, Technology Disputes - Coding

Responsibilities

• Conduct code review and analysis in existing software to determine uniqueness or origin from open sources
• Analyze code to identify intended tasks and functions
• Assist in preparing memos and expert reports that explain complex technical concepts in plain English
• Assist with the preparation of rebuttal expert reports to evaluate the conclusions of other experts
• Communicate technical findings to clients and legal counsel
• Prepare testifying experts for hearings, trials, and mediations
• Manage day-to-day requirements for multiple engagements
• Review the work of junior-level staff

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics (with an emphasis on Computer Science), or a similar field
• 2-4 years of experience in software development, IT services, quality control, or similar code review exposure
• Proficiency in reading and coding in common languages including C++, C#, Java, Python, SQL, or HTML
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to travel as needed
• Must be authorized to work in the US without the need for future sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Working proficiency in a second non-English language
