Senior Associate, Tax

Responsibilities

• Review consolidated US and international corporate income tax returns prepared by external advisors
• Prepare and manage various tax filings, including indirect taxes, withholding taxes, and local tax filings
• Prepare tax calculations and financial statement disclosures under IAS 12
• Calculate and support quarterly US and UK estimated corporation tax payments
• Reconcile tax-related general ledger accounts and support month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain the global tax calendar to ensure timely filing and payment of obligations
• Partner with external advisors on special projects such as transfer pricing and R&D tax credit claims
• Drive process improvements by automating and streamlining tax workpapers and procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Legal, and HR

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in tax accounting and tax compliance
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret and manipulate complex financial data
• Experience in public accounting or an in-house industry environment

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA qualification
• Experience working within a multinational or global organization
• Exposure to international tax, transfer pricing, or indirect taxes
• Experience driving process automation or operational efficiencies within a tax function
• Interest in the music, media, entertainment, or technology sectors
