Senior Associate, Subcontracts

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple government subcontracts and related procurement activities in support of program needs
• Develop subcontract strategies aligned with organizational objectives, compliance requirements, and risk considerations
• Lead contract negotiations and manage agreements through the full subcontract lifecycle
• Monitor supplier performance, conduct reviews, and address delivery, quality, and cost issues
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across engineering, finance, and program management
• Identify risks and implement mitigation actions to support successful execution
• Travel to supplier sites as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of subcontracts experience, or graduate degree with 0-2 years of experience
• 6 years of subcontracts experience in lieu of a degree
• Experience with subcontract strategy formulation, contract negotiation, and risk mitigation
• Ability to evaluate supplier performance and work with cross-functional teams
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow established procedures with general supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of supply chain management, lean manufacturing, assembly, and ATP processes
• Experience supporting supplier contracts above TINA thresholds
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Project, Excel, and Word
• Ability to interpret program, engineering, and supplier requirements in a changing environment
