Senior Associate, Software Verification

Responsibilities

• Verify complex software applications embedded in state-of-the-art ophthalmic instruments across all development lifecycle phases
• Design, execute, review, and approve software verification deliverables and documentation
• Write and execute manual system-level test cases and procedures
• Lead or participate in project teams to facilitate software test planning and SQA support
• Coordinate software test activities with development teams and other key stakeholders
• Provide support for project activities including training, clinical activities, and audits

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience
• 2 years of relevant experience in software verification or testing
• Fluency in reading, writing, and communicating in English
• Experience with software verification and validation processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Agile and iterative software development life cycles
• Experience working in FDA- and ISO-regulated environments
• Hands-on experience testing embedded software systems
• Proficiency with software test automation tools such as Ranorex, Selenium, or Sikuli
• Familiarity with software configuration management and change management tools
• Strong analytical, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
