Senior Associate, Site Selection

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies for identifying and evaluating data center locations to support business growth
• Lead negotiations for land acquisitions and manage relationships with brokers, legal teams, and regulatory agencies
• Oversee site-level due diligence, including environmental, utility, and risk assessments
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external consultants to ensure project timelines and budgets are met
• Manage budgets and evaluate financial models for cost-effective site selection
• Partner with internal teams and local authorities to align site selection with business and community goals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in real estate, business, engineering, or a related field
• 6-8 years of experience in site selection or real estate transactions, ideally within data center or large-scale infrastructure
• Deep understanding of data center requirements, including power, cooling, and connectivity
• Proficiency in real estate acquisition, zoning regulations, permitting, and environmental assessments
• Strong financial modeling, cost analysis, and budget management skills
• Experience with GIS mapping software and project management tools
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
