About the role
Responsibilities
- Support biologics analytical development through method development, assay optimization, and laboratory investigations.
- Perform hands-on experimental work in the laboratory, including the analysis of in-process samples, drug substances, and drug products.
- Utilize analytical techniques such as HPLC, UV-Vis, ELISA, and qPCR to support project goals.
- Lead internal and external laboratory investigations using compendial methods (USP, Ph. Eur., JP).
- Review development and QC analytical data to ensure compliance with test methods, specifications, and protocols.
- Author, revise, and review analytical methods, specifications, protocols, and technical reports.
- Troubleshoot instrumentation and testing anomalies while driving continuous improvement in laboratory processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams and advise on global requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry with 5+ years of experience in compendial, protein content, and impurity methods, OR
- Master's degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry with 3+ years of experience in compendial, protein content, and impurity methods.
- Strong technical proficiency in laboratory techniques and scientific investigation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with analytical techniques including HPLC/UPLC, UV-Vis, SoloVPE, and osmolality.
- Experience with plate-based assays such as ELISA (residual host cell protein, protein A) and qPCR (residual DNA).
- Working knowledge of GMP, GLP, or GxP environments.
- Experience with physicochemical methods including pH, turbidity, and water content.
