About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the schedule dimension of project controls for North America based projects and global level coordination
- Develop, maintain, and report on integrated project schedules from initiation through commissioning and handover
- Establish and maintain critical and near-critical paths, identifying float consumption and early warning signals
- Perform schedule risk analysis, what-if scenarios, and recovery planning to provide acceleration options
- Review, challenge, and validate General Contractor and trade contractor schedules for logic, duration realism, and completeness
- Produce recurring schedule reports including look-aheads, milestone dashboards, and executive-ready delay analysis
- Oversee day-to-day outputs from third-party planning and scheduling consultants in North America
- Partner with Business Intelligence and Cost Management to ensure data quality and alignment with cost forecasts
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of progressive experience in construction scheduling/planning on large, complex projects
- Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6
- Deep understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM), logic linking, float analysis, and schedule risk management
- Demonstrated experience building integrated project schedules including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning
- Experience reviewing and challenging contractor schedules and conducting schedule audits
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate schedule risks into actionable executive insights
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in mission-critical or complex infrastructure sectors
- Experience managing long-lead equipment (LLE) and utility/interconnection workstreams within a schedule
