Senior Associate, Real Estate Development

Responsibilities

• Define and execute land acquisition and control strategies for the Spain unit
• Appraise, underwrite, and manage land control positions in core markets
• Lead viability studies by managing pursuit budgets and external advisors including brokers, lawyers, and architects
• Assess feasibility, master plans, costs, and development risks
• Perform financial underwriting including IRR, MoC, margin, and stabilized yield
• Manage key-account relationships with customers, authorities, brokers, and vendors
• Underwrite proposals and lead commercial and legal negotiations for build-to-suit and leasing projects
• Monitor and report deal financial performance and development pipelines to the Managing Director
• Collaborate with technical, investment, and asset management teams to align execution with fund strategy

Requirements

• Relevant undergraduate degree
• 5 to 10 years of post-qualification property or development experience
• Proven experience in brokerage, development, investment, or property finance
• Deep knowledge of the Spanish industrial and logistics market
• Fluency in English is required for international communication
• Strong understanding of the entire development and construction process
• Ability to negotiate complex legal processes for transactions and leases
