Senior Associate, Procurement

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage RFQ/RFP processes, negotiate agreements, and administer contracts of medium complexity for government and commercial programs.
• Evaluate supplier bids based on price, delivery, quality, and service to ensure optimal value.
• Utilize MRP systems, PeopleSoft, and Supplier Rating Systems to execute and manage procurement activities.
• Interpret and apply FAR/DFAR/ITAR regulations to ensure compliance in all purchasing and import/export activities.
• Track Purchase Orders and resolve discrepancies related to receiving, quality, and supplier performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in manufacturing, engineering, and program management to mitigate risks on critical-path parts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of related experience, OR a Graduate Degree and 0-2 years of experience, OR 6 years of related experience.
• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.
• Knowledge of FAR, DFAR, and ITAR regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, supply chain, and material management processes.
• Purchasing experience across various commodities such as electronic components or mechanical hardware.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems and PeopleSoft.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and supplier performance management skills.
