Senior Associate, Portfolio Analytics

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain proprietary models using Python to support asset allocation and portfolio construction
• Manage and maintain complex datasets used by the Chief Investment Officer team
• Research, develop, and execute risk and performance attribution models for multi-asset portfolios
• Apply statistical, machine learning, and AI techniques to enhance investment research
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, product managers, and technology teams to communicate quantitative findings
• Document, test, and validate models in coordination with Model Review and Governance teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science
• Minimum 3 years of experience working on an investment team within an asset management firm
• Advanced programming skills in Python, specifically with Pandas and NumPy
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, econometrics, and machine learning techniques
• Solid understanding of performance attribution techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• CFA designation or demonstrated progress toward earning the CFA
• In-depth understanding of equity, fixed income, and alternative/private markets
• Experience applying fundamental risk models such as Barra, Axioma, or PORT
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to communicate complex quantitative concepts to non-quantitative colleagues
