Senior Associate - MENA Equities

Responsibilities

• Lead independent coverage of assigned MENA-listed companies and sectors, including Banks, Real Estate, Telcos, Consumer, and Energy.
• Build and maintain advanced financial models using DCF, Gordon Growth, and relative valuation frameworks.
• Produce high-quality investment theses and research reports with clear buy/sell/hold recommendations.
• Monitor company disclosures, earnings results, and macroeconomic developments impacting the MENA region.
• Conduct management meetings and engage with sell-side analysts to gather actionable market insights.
• Prepare and present detailed investment proposals to the Investment Committee.
• Collaborate with the Portfolio Manager to assess portfolio exposures, risk factors, and performance.
• Generate new investment ideas by screening primary and secondary equity opportunities across MENA markets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field of study.
• 10 years of experience in equity research, investment analysis, or portfolio management.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience specifically covering UAE and broader GCC markets.
• Full fluency in both English and Arabic (mandatory).
• Proficiency with modern equity research tools such as Bloomberg or Eikon.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office.
