Senior Associate Medical Science Liaison

Responsibilities

• Act as the medical department representative within the Southeast region
• Identify scientific experts and intensify existing professional contacts
• Cooperate with the Clinical Research department to support Investigator Sponsored Studies (ISS)
• Participate in study meetings and national/international congresses, reporting on current developments and insights
• Plan and execute medical-scientific activities, including lectures, regional advisory boards, and training sessions
• Monitor the competitive landscape within the Rare Disease therapeutic area
• Collaborate with regional cross-functional teams and implement omnichannel approaches tailored to customer needs

Requirements

• Completed medical or scientific university degree, ideally with a PhD
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Medical Affairs or Medical Science
• Solid experience in the clinical development of drugs for rare diseases
• Proficiency in MS Office
• German language skills at C1 level and English at B1 level (written and spoken)
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• High willingness to travel
