About the role

Responsibilities

  • Utilize MRP systems to manage material requirements, inventory data, and procurement processes while ensuring data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and program management teams to ensure timely material delivery and resolve supply chain disruptions.
  • Generate and analyze reports regarding inventory status, material usage, and supply chain performance.
  • Identify and resolve material shortages, delays, and other supply chain issues using data-driven insights.
  • Lead projects aimed at improving material planning and supply chain efficiency.
  • Ensure all material management practices comply with industry regulations, company policies, and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of related experience, OR a Graduate Degree and 0-2 years of experience, OR 6 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Practical knowledge of MRP systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with manufacturing methods involving composites, metals, and electronics.
  • Knowledge of aviation or military systems manufacturing.
  • Experience with Power BI, data analytics, or creating performance metrics.
  • Proficiency with computer-based project management tools for resource planning and cost monitoring.
  • Experience in creating and managing operational or capital expense budgets.
  • Certification or experience in lean practices such as 5S or Six Sigma.
