About the role
Responsibilities
- Utilize MRP systems to manage material requirements, inventory data, and procurement processes while ensuring data accuracy.
- Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and program management teams to ensure timely material delivery and resolve supply chain disruptions.
- Generate and analyze reports regarding inventory status, material usage, and supply chain performance.
- Identify and resolve material shortages, delays, and other supply chain issues using data-driven insights.
- Lead projects aimed at improving material planning and supply chain efficiency.
- Ensure all material management practices comply with industry regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of related experience, OR a Graduate Degree and 0-2 years of experience, OR 6 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Practical knowledge of MRP systems.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with manufacturing methods involving composites, metals, and electronics.
- Knowledge of aviation or military systems manufacturing.
- Experience with Power BI, data analytics, or creating performance metrics.
- Proficiency with computer-based project management tools for resource planning and cost monitoring.
- Experience in creating and managing operational or capital expense budgets.
- Certification or experience in lean practices such as 5S or Six Sigma.
