About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise custodians for government and customer-owned property within a material and production environment
- Perform incoming processing for U.S. Government and Customer-owned property following ISO procedures
- Manage the use and return of Government Furnished Property (GFP)
- Maintain secure Government Storage Areas and ensure accurate records of part locations
- Maintain computerized inventory records and execute complex part research regarding loss, damage, or destruction
- Support DCMA and internal/external customers during audits to maintain proactive relationships
- Load and unload heavy materials using various power lifting and handling equipment
- Assist with final property inventory and contract closeout activities
- Identify opportunities for process streamlining and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Proven experience in inventory management and government property administration
- Strong understanding of logistics functions including receipt, storage, movement, and tracking
- Knowledge of material handling procedures and government property compliance
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Strong analytical, reasoning, and decision-making skills
- Ability to interface effectively with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Quality teams
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of related experience, or 6+ years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of FAR 52.241-1, 54, and 52.245-1 Government Property regulations
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Familiarity with L3Harris product lines and military standards
